According to the different roles of each part in the production process, the production of enterprises can be divided into the following three parts:

1. Basic production process. The basic production process refers to the process of direct processing of the labor object that constitutes the product entity. Such as casting, forging, machining and assembly processes in machinery enterprises; Spinning, weaving and dyeing processes in textile enterprises. The basic production process is the main production activity of an enterprise.

2. Assist the production process. The auxiliary production process refers to the process of various auxiliary production activities engaged in to ensure the normal progress of the basic production process. Such as providing power, tools and maintenance work for basic production.

3. Production service process. Production service process refers to all kinds of service work provided to ensure the smooth progress of production activities. Such as supply work, transportation work, technical inspection work and so on.

The above three parts are combined with each other to form the entire production process of the enterprise. Among them, the basic production process is the leading part, and the rest of the parts are carried out around the basic production process.
